Each TotalObserver integration begins with the entering of assets.

The entering of assets is performed through a simple form where all assets are in a structured form, suitable for the activities carried out over the property (rental, maintenance, monitoring costs, ..). The structure appears most often in the form of a tree. This display mode allows the establishment of a hierarchy that can easily separate the capital facilities from equipment.

Examples of objects are:

  • Buildings,
  • Parking lots,
  • Substation,
  • Land parcells,
  • Fleet of vehicles or a specific vehicle,
  • Electrical landlines, etc.

What is viewed as an object in TotalObserver is defined in the integration, on the basis of recommendations and the way the property is used by the client. An example of this is the electrical landlines which are important for entering only in the industry of power distribution.

After the establishment of facilities, the equipment is entered as well as other "elements" of the property. An example of these elements for the building are: floors, rooms, appliances (electricity meters, chillers, heat pumps, doors and windows... ), etc.

Upon filing the assets, the other features of TotalObserver use assets elements selecting them from the list or by selecting objects from the tree view.

The property whcih the user can observe on other features is defined by the system privileges and rights of the user int the organizational structure.
